Dr. Khaled Alhazmi
Dr. Alhazmi, currently, is advisor at the executive office of H.E. Governor of the Digital government Authority. Dr. Alhazmi is Senior expert at the National Center for Internet of Things and Robotics. Dr. Alhazmi is the founder and former director of the National Center for Robotics and Internet of Things Technology at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). Dr. Alhazmi is the founder and was the director of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) at the Communication and Information Technology Research Institute (CITRI) at KACST. He was the head of vision and operational analytics division at the National Center for Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. Dr. Alhazmi has led many national end-to-end advanced-technology projects. Dr. Alhazmi identifies and manages several strategic partnerships with local and international players. Dr. Alhazmi is part of the ICT sector strategic innovation programs development team at KACST. Dr. Alhazmi is an entrepreneurial director proven in his ability to enhance the operational efficiency with over 15 years’ experience in research, development and innovation sector backed by strong educational background with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Engineering Science both from Western University, Canada focused on Software and Computer Engineering. Dr. Alhazmi leads many national projects related to areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial-IoT, Advanced Robotics, Smart Cities, Autonomous systems, Automation, cloud computing, and Industry 4.0.
